Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We are now entering the month of September where summer heat and humidity still abound with the addition of many rain showers and thunderstorms. This is life in South Florida. Our last summer dinner was held at Agli Olio in Boynton Beach and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Some of us really took advantage of the pasta/sauce/ toppings choices, creating some very interesting combinations. As part of our new membership drive, our Membership Committee completed the mailing of invitations to 250 potential new members, complete with informational brochure and new member applications. Other initiatives will be described at the September 10th general business meeting. Be reminded that the September meeting will be a Potluck dinner so be sure to contact Dawn Chase to confirm your attendance and the dish you plan to provide. In addition, Jennifer Santos (Financial Secretary, Grand Lodge of Florida) plans to attend our meeting to further describe the various cost options for our Caribbean cruise on the Celebrity Beyond on January 24 – 31, 2027. Time is getting short as the deadline for full payment is in October. Bocce resumes this month at the Andre Fladell Civic Center. Contact Ed Catania if you want to join the fun. Finally, we have now added a second option for electronic payment of fees. PayPal, in addition to Zelle, is available using sgtbonannobr@hotmail as the payment address.
