Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The month of May reminds us of pleasant weather, flowers in bloom (especially gardenias) and family. Our family at the Bonanno Lodge celebrated the welcoming of ten new members during the Members Appreciation Night. Feedback I received indicated that the event (food, music) was fantastic. My compliments to Joan for all her efforts in making the arrangements. In addition, we recognized Sarah Catherine Sausser as the  Anthony and Rosemarie Episcopio Scholarship winner. She was present with her parents. She is headed off to Florida State University in the Fall 2026. I had the honor with Jim Episcopio to present a memorial plaque to Sarah at her high school recognition event on May 11. Your Board of Trustees continues to refine procedures for new member application, financial management, internal auditing, and collecting member feedback so that our operations improve and your experience is the best possible.

As you know, the May meeting is our last general business meeting until September. Our summer luncheons have been scheduled with the June 12 luncheon at Malbec Grill set to go. The menu looks great and I’m sure all will enjoy the gathering. Be on the lookout for the dates of our July and August luncheons at Sicilian Oven and Agli Olio, respectively.
